Krasiva Windows and Doors offers and installs Andersen Fibrex® composite windows.
Andersen Windows is one of the very few, well known window companies to make a composite window. The composite material they use is called Fibrex®.
They are more costly than normal vinyl windows and typically less expensive than fiberglass or clad wood windows.
To be a composite window, the frame must be made of a combination of two different materials. Fibrex is composed of a mixture of 40% recycled wood fiber and 60% thermoplastic polymer (vinyl). It is a stable and rigid material that is not a conductor of heat and cold. This makes it a good material for an insulative window.
Andersen windows started in 1903 and is the largest privately held window company in North America. Andersen’s strong product name paired with Krasiva Windows and Doors’ proven track record of quality service and installations is a potent combination for any Phoenix window replacement project.
Andersen Fibrex accepts paint finishes well and can even be ordered in darker colors like Brown (dark bronze) and black.

Andersen Fibrex windows are great for window openings that are rectangular in shape, as there are significant limitations to curving the Fibrex material. Curved windows like half circles and eyebrows only come in limited standard sizes. Custom sizing a replacement window that is curved is not an option. If your project involves curved windows, you may want to consider vinyl windows, aluminum windows, or clad wood windows.
